A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Former math teacher, pastor, and chaplain...now a wine lover, furniture refurbisher, officiant, and Virginian by birth (it is for lovers, right?). I was ordained in 2015 as a United Church of Christ pastor, and have been doing weddings since 2012. It is my passion to create a ceremony that is a celebration of the couple's unique love for each other.
I mainly officiate weddings in VA and NC; however, am open to traveling. I also offer baptisms/christenings and celebrations of life. There are many sacred moments in life worthy of marking.
SERVICES AND FEES
Wedding Ceremony
Officiating a wedding is the best seat in the house - from there, it is my honor to lead and witness a couple as they vow to love one another. I am open to what the couple feels will best express their relationship and commitment, especially if it will honor cultural heritage or faith traditions. I will offer ideas and a basic outline as a starting point, as well. A 30-minute meet beforehand (either in person or through video call) is included.
Ceremony: $300
Rehearsal: $75
Travel fees apply outside a 30-min radius of Va Beach
Elopement Services
Couples elope or get married privately for a variety of reasons. If you but prefer a personal touch, I will meet you for a brief elopement ceremony. This includes signing the marriage license afterward.
Elopement/Private Ceremony: $150
Pre-marital Counseling
The actual wedding ceremony is only the beginning of your life as a married couple. I can help make sure that you and your partner talk about the important matters - money, spirituality, family, handling conflicts - before the big day. Most couples who take advantage of this service opt for a 3-session package.
1 hr session: $35
"Quick Sign" Services
If you are wanting a beloved family member or friend to officiate your wedding, and they are not recognized by the state as an officiant, I can help. I will attend and witness the ceremony, then sign the license afterward.
"Quick Sign" Services: $100
Other Services
There are many moments in life that are enhanced by recognizing its sacredness. Aside from weddings, I can also help with planning celebrations of life, baptisms, or blessings.
